Linda Richter grew up in South Holland, Illinois, a small town very similar to Lynden. She graduated from the American Beauty School in 1970 and then attended the Conservatory of Esthetics and Alopro in Chicago. After schooling she relocated to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she worked for a plastic surgery practice performing pre and post operative skin care. Before moving to Washington, she did skin care for several national stars in Branson, Missouri.

In 2002, she relocated to Washington State and in August of 2005, she and her sister, Janet opened the Front Street Spa. Their vision behind the spa is to provide an avenue for people to maintain a healthy lifestyle through relaxation and rejuvenation, and to customize services to the needs of their clients.
